Hello to All,
We are currently sourcing and recruiting licensed Physical Therapists for a start-up Home Health Care company that will be based in Manila. Our partners are looking into setting up the company in the next few months and we are searching for talented, enthusiastic, and experienced Physical Therapists who can join our initial staff.
Our company's goal is to provide a structure and legitimize the home health care industry here in the Philippines. At present, there are companies and groups that provide home health care to patients with varying disorders/illnesses. However, there is no legitimate structure or order to speak of and this is one of the reasons why the industry has not flourished in the country. Unlike the health care structure in other countries (i.e. the U.S., Canada, Australia), home health care in the Philippines is not wholly recognized by Philhealth, insurance companies, and other public/private entities. The company's main objective is to provide this structure and credibility because we believe that PTs need not leave the country to practice their profession and live a comfortable life.
Another objective is to provide a venue for local PTs to hone their skills and expand their experience before grabbing opportunities abroad. Most healthcare companies that recruit in Manila look for PTs with experience as it expedites the learning curve once the PTs arrive in the foreign country. With the prospect of having a very diverse group of patients to treat, our company can significantly aid and assist PTs in the application of their knowledge on the field.
We are looking for applicants with the following credentials:
1. Currently licensed with the Philippine Regulation Commission
2. Graduates of four-year or five-year curricula in the Philippines
3. With at least 6 months experience in hospitals or rehabilitation clinics (must have certificates for proof)
4. Physically fit and can handle moderate patient loads
5. Can comfortably communicate in both English and Filipino
6. Sound background in the use of portable rehab paraphernalia such as ES, UTZ, and free weights
7. Possessing the confidence, enthusiasm, and energy to treat and communicate with clientele across all socio-economic groups
Interested applicants can send their updated curriculum vitae to gimenezlouis@yahoo.com. Please note that the name of our company is still under deliberation. We will post it as soon as the name and the government/legal papers are filed.
Thank you and may God bless all healthcare professionals who provide comfort and care to those in need.
