Yung FCCPT ko naiforward na sa NYSED, So yung File ko sa NYSED d pa maeevaluate ka pag dpako nagbayad ng $270. Ang problem ko kasi dko maipadala yung application for licensure&first registration kasi may entry dun sa new york application packet concerning citizenship/immigration status, kailangan ng alien registration number or control number issued by the immigration and naturalization service. Ibig ba nun sabihin kailangan ko pumunta ng US para maisubmit na yung form and eventually makapagexam na? nandito palang ako kasi sa inang bayan natin.

Ano pala uli yung Visa screening na tinatanong ng agency?

Hi there Pit.! I also applied in New York without giving the INS number & I got approved I was given Alternate Identification Number(AIN) and ATT. Based on my experience, even without the INS number or without coming to US you can still apply and be given the ATT later on. But then NYSED will still definitely ask for that upon giving you the AIN. You will get that number when you apply for VISA . You can also check out Archive 545 of The Filipino Physical Therapist Yahoo Group dated April 11, 2004 . I found it helpful because a nice fellow took time to answer it in detail. Check out all the other messages there as well,they are all helpful. Everybody is welcome to share their ideas about this matter .

Thanks. So Ibig sabihin, pwede ko na ipadala yung form1 (application for licensureand first reg.) kahit wala pang number na nakalagay dun sa alien registration number na fill-up space? Nakakuha narin ako ng alternate identification number. Yun nalang kasi na form ang dko pa napapadala(form1).

hello pede po tulungan nyo ako kc ..natanggap ko yun approval ko sa nysed last 2003 pa..asked ko lng kung eligible pa ako para kumuha ng npte..saka pede ba akong kumuha ng npte sa ibag states ng usa khit sa newyorka ko ng siseek ng license..pls urgent lng po..thank you

i got my nysed eligibility letter on 2003 as well, november 20 to be exact. i have the same concern as yours, i actually emailed them inquiring about it but i haven't received any reply to date, and that was 5-6 months ago. anyhow, a colleague/friend of mine who has been working in ny for years told me that the eligibility letter has no expiration, i can only hope that he's right. at any rate, i'll keep you posted on it as soon as i heard it directly from nysed. as to your second inquiry, yes, we may take the ny licensure exam in other states. i am hoping to take mine in toronto. goodluck to us!

hi...i'm doing my credentialing too for New York, did you go for FCCPT? If so, they allow my relatives in the philippines to pay in behalf of me...They said they have to ask for receipt and keep it as a proof of payment.I hope tis will help you.God Bless!!!

just want to clarify yun sa application procedure sa NY, do i have to apply first s FCCPT Type I? KC online lng application, pero sa FCCPT NYSED (if im not mistaken) is still a paper application. Tama ba?

Pano ba ang processo? Any advice please?

I was very impulsive ngtake n ako ng IBT TOEFL, sayang kng d ko magamit, almost 1 yr na.

hi I graduated 1997 but did not pursue it before.. but i am now and planning to go for credentialling..i learned that i should still have to take more subjects to add credit units since FCCPT is now using CWT5...just want to ask if im goin for NYSED which i prefer,, do i still need to take additional units? pls advise...tnx so much and does NY requires now a master's degree?

as far as i know you still need to take the additional units this is part of the requirement of uscis. nysed will not require it although they have a new rule starting august2012, you must have at least a masters degree to be eligible to sit for the npte in newyork.
