First of all, if you don't have your Social Security Number your applications will be returned to you. I know this because my friend already did and her applications were returned because PTBC doesn't accepts Alternate Identification Number or other Identification Nos. There are no other exemptions. You can try to apply to other state first and be relocated after a year or once you have your license already in CA. But... If you do have your Social Security Number with you and all the other requirements ,PTBC will review your application upon receipt for abut 2-3 weeks. Do not contact the board to check on the status of your evaluation. You will receive a letter in the mail once your credentials have been reviewed. The board meetings are typically scheduled in February, May, August and October. This schedulae is subject to change.
Sorry for long post.

hi... so if I do take my NPTE from another state and then have a transfer score to CA, they wont accept it because I dont have my SSN? ...If I have an employer already in CA, can they file for a petition for me and an EAD or a temporary working permit while I wait for the release of my visa? If that's possible, how long should the process take? ..and Finally maam/sir, do you have an idea when the new fiscal year will open? I've been hearing word that as long as you pass the NPTE and you have an employer and they file a case regarding your visa status, that you can actually start working already as long as the temporary working permit has been released, while you wait for your visa?... Can anyone confirm this? Or any Idea where I can confirm this? Marami pong salamat... God bless
