LECTURERS AND FACILITATORS
Ms. Christianne Marie A. Coronel, MHlthSc, OTRP is a faculty member of the University of the Philippines Manila College of Allied Medical Professions (UP-CAMP). She earned her degree of Master of Health Science from the University of Sydney in Australia in 2003. She is currently the Clinical Training Coordinator of the UP-CAMP Clinic for Therapy Services which caters to children with developmental disorders. Her interests are in the fields of motor control, clinical reasoning and research.
Ms. Deanna Kathrina Z. Maranion, PTRP, MS (cand.) is a physical therapist specializing in pediatrics. She is pursuing her degree of Master of Science in Physiology from the UP-College of Medicine. She was a faculty member of the UP-CAMP from 1998-2003 and has since then served as consultant PT at the Independent Living Learning Centre in Manila and at Mary’s School in Batangas. Ms. Maranion is an active advocate of the Bobath approach for treatment of children with cerebral palsy. Her interests are in the fields of neurophysiology, adaptive equipment, and research.
Mr. Vincent Paul D. Gaton, PTRP earned his degree of Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the UP-CAMP. He is co-owner and head physical therapist of the Buildabilities Therapy Center in Cebu City and has worked with special children since 2001. Mr. Gaton is an active advocate of the Bobath approach for treatment of children with cerebral palsy.
Mr. Niño D. Ybañez, OTRP is co-owner and head occupational therapist of Buildabilities Therapy Center in Cebu City and has been practicing in the field of pediatrics since 2000. He is currently pursuing a degree of Master of Science in Clinical Psychology at the University of San Carlos. He earned his degree of Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the UP-CAMP.
