Hi! i want to ask, if you already have FCCPT type 1 approval what would be the next step? will I apply for an H1B visa or pass the NPTE first and then apply for the visa? Also, is it true that if you have FCCPT type 1, is it the same thing with visa screen?thanks!

Good day!
Look for an agency or better yet look for an employer to sponsor you for H1b visa. Currently, H1b visa is the safest and valid tool for you to be able to take the exam in the U.S. Although there are some reports that tourist visa is now ok for the NPTE exam. But it depends.
Yes! FCCPT Type 1 is same with Visascreen.
Good luck!

thank you pt2003. i have another question though, given that I already have an agency. Will they sponsor me for H1b before I take the NPTE or after I pass the NPTE and have an employer... ?

Hi pinoyinksa!!!
It really depend's from your agency. Some agencies will do Tourist visa while some will do H1B visa.
Agencies are very wary right now on what visa they will sponsor and if possible they will provide Tourist visa first.
But some agencies are willing to sponsor for H1b. As what I'v mentioned above, it is the most valid "visa" for the purpose of taking the NPTE.
I've heard there are some denials still for tourist visa.
Go ahead ask you agency.
By the way I'm also an Ilonggo!
Good luck to you!
