I believe AIN is needed in all states when applying for NPTE in FSBPT. AIN is the Altenate Identification Number which can be used instead of SSN because as in our case (foreign-trained PT) we still dont have SSN.

Not ALL states accepts AIN. California doesn't accepts AIN prior to licensure application. Colorado has a waiver for SSN. In Delaware, you write NONE in the Licensure application. Florida states that SSN can be submitted a later part. TAKE NOTE! FSBPT accepts AIN prior to take NPTE exam. But other states mentioned still requires you to have SSN prior to Licensure. you will not be issued a license without a Social Security Number BUT they can give you eligibility to take the NPTE exam using the AIN thru FSBPT. GETS?!
